About who can bless a child is a contraversial topic. Luke 1: 46-55 says Mary made the most powerful prayer because she was righteousness God hears and answers the prayer of a righteous person. So when a righteous mother prays to God to bless his children, God blesses those children in a mighty way. Blessings comes with holiness
