Mungiki Metamorphosis

Mungiki leader Maina Njenga who now confesses to be a born again Christian says he is on a mission to lead his followers to Christianity which should, by extension, ensure they abandon their dreaded old ways. But given the long and not so edifying history of the Mungiki, will this simple act by Maina lead to the death of the group as it has been known or will it just provide a new platform for the Mungiki group to camouflage itself?
