gosh that woman on sean’s team is gorgeous. nick’s “it is him” quip was funny. and ray dorset, still as cool as ever. any one of those three figures would have been my sole focus in the video had it not been for phil’s astonishing shirt, swiftly spiriting my attention away from those others with its spangled golden magnificence.

i dont know which one is Phil. i never know who most of the people in these clips are because they werent celebrities here and there are no name plaques under them. but i knew which one was Ray immediately. the last two clips i watched was Vix of Fuzzbox and Ranking Roger of The Beat. of course i recognize them. now if they got the bass player from pearl jam or something, no idea.

Phil Jupitus was the team captain on the left side, the big guy. Sean Hughes, then it was Bill Bailey, then another bloke I hate to mention, as the team captain on the right. Everyone featured in NMTB were celebrities in their own right, just because they're not the Brad Pitts and Angelina Jolies of America doesn't mean they're not celebrities. Do you realise how damn hard it must've been for them to get celebs who know stuff about music? They definitely could not ask any old comedian or actor because most of them wouldn't give a damn. Well in the original with Mark they couldn't, i don't know about later.
