Muni Long, I recall spending years occasionally checking online to see if "Priscilla Renee" had released any new music. I’d go on Twitter for updates because I adored your voice and energy, but it often left me feeling sad when I didn’t find anything new. I even asked my family in the music industry if they had any insider information, but no one did. Then, all of a sudden, you made a triumphant return with hit after hit! Bless you for speaking about organized religion and domestic violence. There are a lot of abusive communities, and they always put the expectation on the person with less power in the dynamic to uphold the faith. It's always the child that has to honor the parent, not the parent that has to respect their power over the child. It's always the wife that has to hold down the husband and forgive the husband, not the husband that is held accountable for his abuse of power. I went through the same thing in my religious community and it's so freeing to leave all that BS behind. That's not the environment I want to raise my children to believe in.
