Hi, my layover is 1:10 ,will i have enough time to switch from terminal 1 to terminal 2, no checked baggage, flight with Lufthansa and Air dolomiti, do i have to go through passport control once more ? Better use the shuffle bus or walk, what do u recommend, please, thanks 😊

Hi, when you arrive in the non Schengen Area i can recommend to use the Bus. The layovertime is enough.

Do you leave the international zone when going from Terminal 1 to 2 ? I have canadian visa and i will land on terminal 1 and will flight on terminal 2. I dont have schengen visa only canadian visa so will i need transit visa for that ?

Hi there, I land at 13H25 from Emirates (Terminal 1) - have a connecting flight with Lufthansa (Terminal 2) at 15H15. I have to go through passport control as well as am from non-Schengen area and flying to Schengen area. Is passport control in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2? Is the shuttle after or before passport control as I don't think I can walk between terminals with the amount of luggage I have and I have a heart condition so may have to walk slower. I have just under 2 hours to make it, so a bit worried - to make time to check in at Lufthansa to make my flight.

Hi :) Since you still have to collect your luggage in Terminal 1, the passport control is in Terminal 1. When the airport is in normal operation, it can be done even at slow speeds. There is no bus connection on land. What you can also do is book the VIP service. He will then take care of everything for you.

Thanks for the reply, the Munich Airport website states: A free shuttle bus runs between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The signs to your connecting gate will direct you to the shuttle bus. The bus runs every 10 minutes from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. every 20 minutes Is this untrue? Does the shuttle not exist?

I reach at terminal 1 and and have a connection flight from terminal 2.. Lufthansa operated by ethihad airways.I only have 1 hour 25 mins layover time..is it enough to check in? Is there a shutlle bus available?

Hello. I am traveling from LAX to IST via Munich. My Lufthansa flight lands in terminal 2 and my Turkish flight departs in terminal 1. I have a 55 minute layover. Will I need to collect my bags and recheck or will they be transferred by the airlines? And will I have to go through security again changing terminals? Is 55 minutes enough time?

You can only make it if the luggage is routed. But that shouldn't be a problem because both are in the same alliance

Hi 😀 when you need to change the Terminal between 1amd 2 with luggage then you leave the transit area and you need a visa or your passport allowed the transit without a visa.
