But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33. Now when it comes to first priority of man, seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness should be first. However, this is not the case with every man because of the lack of Godly inclination. Take Abram who has not yet had an encounter with God but his father Terah who was at the time seeking to leave their native land or country did not seek the kingdom of God but sought out instead where he and his family could dwell. Genesis 11:31-32 says: And Terah took his son Abram and his grandson Lot, the son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, his son Abram’s wife, and they went out with them from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan; and they came to Haran and dwelt there. So the days of Terah were two hundred and five years, and Terah died in Haran. Now notice that Canaan was Terah's destination however, he didn't reach it but dwelt in the area of Haran. Now I believe that the reason for Abram's father dwelling in the area of Haran was due to a lack of Godly inclination. Instead, Terah was more inclined to country, and family orientation meaning that Abram's father Terah put more priority into country and family than in God. Genesis 12 show us that God wanted Abram to be different than his father by placing more priority in God than in country or family because it was God who gave the man the country and family to begin with. Genesis 12:1-3 Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." Now whenever the Lord say something, you can bank on it coming to past. The land or country of Canaan was what God wanted for Abram, which meant Abram had to leave the area of Haran the land of Ur of the Chaldeans or Babylon which today is modern day Iraq. In the land of Ur was idolatry and false gods, who did not give priority to the one an only true God creator of heaven and earth. So to test Abram, God told him to leave his country full of idolatry and false gods which separation literally meant God's influence over the life and mindset of Abram. Abrams next challenge was leaving his family or relatives such as uncles, aunties, cousins, grandparents, nieces, and nephews etc. For Lot was Abram's nephew Lastly, God challenged Abram attachment to his sisters, and brothers which was his father's house. For God tested Abram to see if he would depend on the resources which was country, relatives and his father's house over depending on God who is the source that gave him the resources to begin with. Today, even today, God doesn't change for just as Abram was tested in this way, so are we. Notice how when Abram made God more of a priority than country, relatives and his father's house that God made Abram a great nation and a great name in the earth anyways. In addition, all the families including Abrams own was blessed any how which the blessing came through Jesus Christ Himself. All this was because Abram seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, making God his first priority, instead of country, and family. What are you seeking today. Is God even a priority.

Manhood and womanhood is not based on or in what we can see, but on and in what we cannot see. 2CORINTHIANS 4:18 says: While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. Manhood/womanhood is not based on/in things that we possess such as country and family. This is why Matthew 6:33 says: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Manhood/womanhood is not based on/in our military physical/brawn or strength/might nor our intellectual ability. This is why Zachariah 4:6 says: Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. What is man? For man is a spirit who has a soul who lives in a physical body. The soul consists of the mind/intellect, will, and emotions. For this is why 1JOHN 4:1 says: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. False prophets are false men who are under a false sense of manhood because they do not observe the will or things of God. Now the days of David drew near that he should die, and he charged Solomon his son, saying: “I go the way of all the earth; be strong, therefore, and prove yourself a man. And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.1kings 2:1-3. Notice how David charged Solomon to keep the charge of God. This however is because manhood is connected to keeping the charge of God or observing the things of God. For we also see this in Matthew 28:18-20 as it says: And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. In other words, our manhood/womanhood is connected to observing the things of God.

Paul used comparisons with soldiers, athletes and farmers who must discipline themselves and be willing to sacrifice to achive results they want. Like soldiers we have to give up worldly security and endure rigorous discipline Like athlete train hard & follow the rules Like farmers we must work extremely hard and be patient we keep going despite of suffering because of the thought of victory, the vision of winning and the hope of harvest
