This is why it’s important for us to read, study, meditate on the word of God(Bible). We have to rely on the Holy Spirit. Dr. Myles was a great man of God full of knowledge but he doesn’t replace our relationship with God and reading his word! You have to read the manual to life! But God grace and mercy is so good to us! Now you can share your testimony to free someone else and he will restore you and turn it all around for your good! ❤️

I think he's trying to say that the choice to accept the salvation that Christ brought to us is ours. God can't make that choice for us...we have to choose to accept Christ as our saviour and only in that choice is our Salvation made complete. It is God's heart that we all choose to accept the salvation of Christ, but he gave us free will..so we can choose to accept Christ or reject Him. Same applies to marriage, God would present people suitable for us and we have to choose. God can direct us and let us know his heart but ultimately, the choice is ours.

They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. ...because Paul was speaking about "learning" and not preaching. If you understand the culture during those times, the congregation was segregated. Men on one side, women on the other. The women would yell and ask questions of their husbands while the teaching was going on. This is why Paul said "women be quiet in the church and ask your husbands at home." It created chaos. His words had zero to do with women preaching.

You are a person - so you are responsible for carrying your own foundational principles and they are found in the Word of God which is your bible.
