I've got a couple of dozen of these left. Trying to keep them for xmas. I prefer the Oaked Ale in the same range where you add a sachet of oak chips to give it a dry woody taste on the back-end. I must say I'm impressed with the Muntons Hand Crafted range. I've tried them all bar one and enjoyed the lot.

Good review chap. I’d be up for giving this a go. Still like to do a kit Ale now and again. Poachers choice. To me that’s a Badgers treat. Do love it. Not to many tho. Your right. Cheers

Will you be reviewing any of the partial extract kits at geterbrewed? The channel 'home-brew review partridge' have been reviewing their own recipes with them, but I can't find any reviews of geterbrewed's own preassembled kits. Seems like a step forward from the stove top kits that you reviewed in terms of price (and hopefully an Irish company can make a decent stout) PS. The Partridge brothers won a pub shed of the year competition. Maybe you should try and get an invite to review their pub shed for yourself!

naxis5000 well if get er brewed want to send me some i would be happy to 🤔.I have watched them fellas a few times good lads.I do think muntons are doing very well with kits now they seem so much more refined.

When I make my first order with 'get' I will let them know! PS. I followed your review on the Festival New Zealand Pilsner and gave it a go. 38 days after bottling for the first test and it seems so much darker than yours (clear as glass still). It was as dark as a wherry and my worst kit by taste so far. I hope an extra month improves the taste as it was not enjoyable. Which raises a question about consistent standards between kits?
