Back in the days the legendary long-distance buses that ran this route were, Gono, kukura kurehwa, Tauya, Kawimbis, Yellow Bus Services, Shushine, & Madondo & Co.. etc. These buses run on time even if you did not have a watch you would know the time just by the bus passing by.

It’s good to see rural developments. We all need to see the investment potential outside of major cities and begin to integrate rural and urban economies.

I have long memories of this place when I used to pass through by Kugara kunzwana, Kuwirirana and Mutendi bus services. However on other occasions I used to drop there and have a jolly time in Madondo hotel where this band used to play ma Nurse and Ruvengo something like that. If not mistaken the band leader was Sikala or Scala not sure. A lot of people who where on their way to their families ended up destitute after having a nice time with the ladies of the night at this place. It's called Mafaro!!!

Thus my Growth Point, grew up there and still living there in Gonville,Gutu. It breaks my heart to see the once attractive buildings now looking like ruins, everything has changed except graves.City Fathers may you pay special attention to standard paving of the roads please.Anyhow l like the idea that the Guturians are ever creative n resourceful in terms of coming with money making ideas,it's a hive of bees in the area.Thumps up Sir,misbmy town.

Thanks for showing a smaller town. Looks like there is some newer development therefore there must be expectations of expansion and improvements to the area relatively soon. This will spur improvements to the whole area and the other businesses. Another great video with a decent soundtrack - keep it up!! Cheers from Canada 👊

Many big buildings were owned by the big deceased madhalas edu , the likes of Madondo, Dauramanzi, Jaricha, Chipepera, Mukushi, etc. The children and grandchildren are no longer business oriented as the original owners. As a result, the buildings are no longer fully utilised, to rake in enough income for good upkeep. Besides the economic conditions have eroded everything around countrywide.
