Of the three classical Indian dances, I recognized Bharatanatyam and, possibly, Kathak. Now the third style I know is from Kerala and is based on Kathakali theater, I just don't know what the name is.

Bollywood will never see another dancer like Vyjayantimala, who was grace personified during dancing! In this song, she could display her mastery in Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Kathakali, complete with mudras, movements and bhaav extremely eloquently! Other trained southern dancers like Hemamalini, Jaya Prada, Bhanupriya (Sridevi wasn't a trained dancer although she danced well) couldn't take Vyjayantimala's place due to the latter's enormous contribution to dance not only in films but also through her dance shows annually in Chennai during the month of Maragashirsha! It is to be noted that she presents new and innovative pieces of dance in these shows after a thorough research!!! Ashaji in her khanakti awaaj gives stiff competition to her elder sister and Rafiji sings well to pacify warring ladies!!!
