I agree that he was one of great sultans who won great wars but he was cruel, he executed those who consumed alcohol and other intoxicates. But some sources claims that he was alcoholic himself 😒 and they also claimed he died cause of liver problems. And do u know what effects the most if someone consumes alcohol, the answer is liver and heart 😶 He fought for islam (I agree ) But he was cruel to his peoples 😬 He wasn't that great but he was an ordinary sultan 😤 Please be respectful with ur word.

The ottoman sehzades (princes) would all have there own armies, since they where sended to other cities so they could learn to lead. The moment the Sultan dies only one can be sultan (the one who first gets to the city). But since they all have people who loved them, they would end up in a war. A lot of soldiers would die. So they decided that killing 1 person is better then killing more. With they stoped sending the sehzades to other cities (since the sultan died very early), after that they where all in the palace, but aldo less educated. If someone didnt like the sultan they would simply say they wanted the other one to be sultan. So they killed to protect themselves. + if you look up the story of sehzade cem ( which is also called Cem Sultan) you will know why they kill there own brothers.
