This is my prediction: everything under 3,000 will fly off the shelves. A few weeks later, we will see a lot on resale market for double the price. Fast forward three years from now, when the hype dies down, the second hand market will be flooded with unwanted pieces at huge discounts. I've seen it all before. My advice: if you really love, love, love these, just wait a couple of years.

I agree…personally, I have never been drawn to this collection. Always seemed a bit “juvenile” to me. A leather piece would be a much better purchase, in my opinion, especially for the cost.

Was looking forward to getting a white multicolour bag but I think I wanted a Noe BB. Oh well. As the days have gone by I’m unsure of the Speedy because of those gold corners and the Alma looks cute but it means keeping that leather clean (for me). Sadly, there isn’t one bag I truly love as is. I do like the black with silver hardware though. Very fresh. I mean lean towards SLGs. The nostalgia is getting to me more than the styles 😩.

Shame you sold the LV black multicolor speedy 30 , as the new black MC with silver and black handles don’t look as good as the vachetta with Gold hardware. I’ve got one and will cherish it, just love it❤❤. I do however love the new white MC bags they are beautiful and just couldn’t resist ordering one!

Have you seen the interiors of the capucines? They are really special on gorgeous on the inside like little secrets. Unfortunately I want too many other nostalgic muliticolore pieces so I will have to pass on the capucines. I have a lot of thoughts about this collection. I love the collection because its fashion history. I was a young teen when it first came out. I can't deny that its iconic and huge when i was an luxury dreamer and nothing else. I love it for that. However I think LV is coming across a bit desperate by doing this. I can't help think it's playing the hits for money instead of fashion forward new designs. I'm not sure desperate is a word that I want associated with a luxury brand. I think practically I can't think how I would style these pieces to make it work for my day to day style. I'm at stage when I really want wearable pieces as my collection isn't huge. If I was a bit older then I think this collection would be more appealing because it would be okay have something sitting on the shelf because its cool and pretty. I think it's obvious by the comments that it's definitely causing a bit distaste for not being accessible to people even with SAs. That's never nice either. Someone mentioned the resell market in a year or two. maybe that’s where its at. I would be cool with that. I definitely love the collection for history so I get why people are so excited. I do look forward to seeing what you've gotten. I watch unboxing for the joy so i'm sure i'll tune in for that ❤

I recently purchased the Judy PM in the noir. I ❤️ her. She’s edgy. I currently don’t own an Alma so the MC in white appeals to me but the price certainly does not. So if I’m able to pick anything up it will be one or two SLGs. J. 🙂

Absolutely. I left feedback with the online chat agent recently about how obnoxious I found the bragging online from other customers who are allowed to pre-order. As well as the fact that my SA knows nothing about the collection for days after the leaks. It’s annoying how LV is handling this release. Leaves a very bad taste indeed.

The 33 speedy trunk is such a bad joke. Who would even want all those bags all basically the same? It sort of turns me off the whole collection I just start to see the pattern everywhere and nothing seems special. (Some are cute though…)

They had the same kind of trunk last time. It’s a novelty collectors item. I doubt many people in the entire world will order it if anyone. More a work of art. No need to have it turn you off The whole collection Each trim is a different color in the pattern. That’s why there are so many.
