Again, I am here with a tool video that will be useful for DIY enthusiasts.
In this video, I tried to show the construction of "Semi-Automatic Spot Welding Machine".
I put a timer circuit in it that I made myself. With this circuit, the welding time and the time required for the material to settle before welding can be adjusted. In this way, we do not have to put a button outside. When we lower the handle, an equal amount of welding can be done after a certain time. After determining the time settings according to the material shape and thickness, it can be welded in series.
I have an idea to make a "Foot Pedal" for Spot Welding Machine and I will try to make and share it soon. I didn't put a button outside for this purpose anyway and I solved the problem with the timer circuit.
If you want, you can do this with a button without using the electronic circuit. But my advice to you would be to add the electronic circuit.

I have to thank you for this Great work . I was researching on this project . saw many Ideas with arduino's .O yes they love EMP from these Transformers :) Your circuit Diagram Simple, old school, works a charm . Must admit I added 1000uf & 1500uf with a toggle switch to give Hi Lo . 1000uf times @ 130ms to 330ms . 1500uf times @ 180ms to 496ms . Big over kill :) .. Your work and skill was pleasure to watch .

Hola. Primero, gracias. Dado que el circuito es simple y no consume mucha corriente, no hay necesidad de protección. Ya está dentro de la caja y no se producen situaciones como el cambio de polaridad. La probabilidad de mal funcionamiento es muy baja. Pero se puede instalar un diodo 1n4001 en los extremos de la bobina de ambos relés, con el cátodo en potencial positivo.

Nice construction of such a project. Interesting layout and how you installed all the parts. Looking at the schematic diagram, it probable wouldn't hurt to put reversed biased diodes across the coils of both relays to protect them from back EMF when they turn off... Just a suggest to protect the coils. I am also assuming you are getting the 12 volts from a small winding off the large transformer to power the timer circuit. Is it rectified? Thumbs Up!

Hello. Firstly, thank you. There should have been a diode for the reverse EMF, but I forgot. I also recommend using it. I did not get the required 12V voltage for the timer from the microwave transformer, I put a separate supply source. Because there is no energy in the transformer except for the spot welding time. It only gets energized during what I call "weld time".

Hello. Thank you so much. In this state, it can spot weld plates with a maximum thickness of 1mm and bars with a diameter of 4mm. For thicker materials, a 2nd transformer can be added in parallel. In other words, we can say that it is the number of transformers that determine the power. Of course, if a 2nd transformer is to be added, the cable used on the secondary side should be chosen between 35mm2 and 50mm2.

Muchas gracias. Me alegra que te guste. La razón por la que el cable superior está desnudo es que no puede atravesar el perfil de forma aislada debido al eje que permite que el brazo suba y baje. Es decir, el perfil es delgado y no hay espacio para que pase el cable cuando se coloca el eje... Espero haberlo explicado... Por cierto, las dimensiones de la caja están disponibles en la sección de descripción. También puedes encontrar el video que muestra cómo hacer el circuito temporizador que le puse en mi canal 👍

Muito interessante, vou fazer um. Só uma dúvida : posso usar um transformador em vez de 220 fazer com um 110v vai mudar alguma coisa no circuito controlador?

Olá. Como o transformador que você irá utilizar é fabricado para tensão de 110V, não é necessário fazer nenhuma alteração. O circuito de controle também pode ser usado da mesma maneira. A única diferença é que os cabos usados no lado de entrada devem ser mais grossos. A razão para isso é que na tensão de rede de 110 V, 2 vezes mais corrente será retirada da entrada.

hola amigo murat, primeramente gracias por todo su esfuerzo en hacer esta maquina y mostrarlos a nosotros los que no tenemos tantos conocimientos de electronica, tengo una duda, yo hice la parte electronica (TIMER) para un spotter automotriz, es decir 3 transformadores en serie,, ahora bien, al conectar el timer que usted hizo todo funciona perfecto, lo unico que me esta dando problemas y no logro controlar es la fuente de 12v que alimenta el timer esta directa, es decir que desde que conecto la energia se enciende la fuente automaticamente sin darle al boton de power y por ende siempre esta encendido, no puedo utilizar el boton de encendido, agradeceria que me orientara en como solucionar dicho inconveniente, ya que he hecho todo al pie de la letra siguiendo su video como referencia.

Hola. Según tengo entendido el botón de encendido no funciona. Es decir, se activa aunque no lo presiones... En este caso, debe haber una falla en el circuito del temporizador. Quizás los contactos del relé se hayan conectado incorrectamente. Vuelva a verificar el circuito. Si está seguro de que las conexiones son correctas, explíqueme detalladamente la situación de trabajo. Verifique su circuito mientras mira el video del circuito electrónico. Estoy seguro de que hay un error.

Selamlar. Videoda kullandığım metaller 0.75mm saç ve 6 lik çivi. Eğer daha güçlü kaynak gerekiyor ise 2 trafo kullanın ve aynı şekilde sarım yaparak trafoları paralel bağlayın. Bu şekilde çok daha rahat kaynak yapabilirsiniz. Bu durumda kutuyu 10cm daha uzatın ve elektronik devrede kullanılan ve trafoya enerji veren roleyi 20A e dayanıklı olarak seçmeniz yeterli olacaktır.

Puedes usarlo exactamente. Tal vez pueda elegir el relé que energiza los transformadores para que sea resistente a corrientes más fuertes. El otro puede seguir igual.

Selamlar@ şuan yapıyorum ama kabloyu 50'lik geçirmek imkansız en azındn benim trafom için.Bir tane 220v ile çalışan fan koydum.Amacım akşamları biraz kafes yapmak umarım işe yarar :)

Videoda gördüğünüz gibi 6 lik çivileri bu hali ile çok rahat punto yapıyor. Yapacağınız kafeste kalın demir mi kullanılıyor. Bu arada 50mm2 kablo yerine 3 adet 16mm2 kabloyu paralel sarabilirsiniz. Boşluklar daha az olacağı için sığma ihtimali var.

The circuit is a two-time adjustable circuit. After pressing the arm, a short time can be set so that the material can be fully seated, and then there is a time for welding. There are two circuit i think

One of the circuits is for the timer and the other is the 12V power supply that makes the timer circuit work. From power sources called switch mode. But I recommend using a power supply with a small transformer.

أعتقد أن مادة النحاس ليست جيدة من حيث التوصيل. النحاس أكثر فعالية في هذا الصدد.

Hi Murat I made the welder as to your plans but I made the arms 375mm long When I test i get the hum of the transformer but very little heat at the electrodes so the weld doesn't happen. Any idea what I have done wrong - the arms too long maybe?

Yani butona basıldığında ilk zaman düzgün şekilde çalışıyor ve ayarlanabiliyor mu? Eğer ilk zaman gecikmesi düzgün ise 2. Zaman gecikmesi yani kaynak zamanı olması gerektiği gibi devreye giriyor ve uzun da olsa sonunda kaynağı kesiyor mu? Bu bilgileri ayrıntılı olarak anlatırsanız belki daha çok yardımcı olabilirim. Devrenin yapılış videosunu tekrar izlemenizi ve bağlantıları kontrol etmenizi tavsiye ederim

Potansiyometre ayar yapmıyor ise ama süre uzun da olsa sonunda bitiyor ise pot bağlantısı hatalı olabilir. Sürekli kaynak yapma durumunda kalıyor ise röle bağlantıları hatalı olabilir.

@ sin animo de ofender!! esta maquina esta muy muy buena, y dejando a parte el circuito eléctrico esta sencilla, la otra que menciono ya tiene mucho fierrerio soldado! la otra consulta es como pedís ese cable, yo pedí uno de 10 mm y no es así de grueso, es mucho mas fino y tendrá unos 10 filamentos gruesos, osea no es lo que necesitaba por lo tanto no me dio resultado, e mirado en mercado libre pero no encuentro ese tipo de cable
