Another Asian Giant Hornet’s nest was found and eradicated in Washington State. It’s the first one to be found this year and officials say the hornets were not happy to see them. Last year the first nest of this invasive species, nicknamed the Murder Hornet, was found in October. Officials with the WSDA say the second nest was three times bigger and these bugs were ready to defend their home. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

"We were approached by the hornets..." well that's a nice way of putting it. Makes them sound like a bunch of Japanese tourists asking for directions outside the public library. Should have waited till AFTER SUNDOWN, once the location of the nest was known (with very accurate military precision GPS coordinates). They're like lots of other hornets, whereas they ALL return to the nest. This would prevent any stragllers from proliferating. It's worth the overtime wages to have it done right. Thankyou for your service to the country. 🇱🇷 The authorities took too long to hunt down the Asian Ash Borer in 1998, and it evolved to eat sap from maple trees. These monsters possibly could evolve to feed on garbage, like hornets and yellow jackets; going after leftover meat and whatever few drops of soda pop in drink cups and cans. In the 1950s at church picnics, I had a few hornets dive into open cups of orange soda pop I'd be holding in my hand, and then they'd try to crawl down the straw when I had the snap-on plastic cover.
