Murder in Mirrorworld

Crabs catch and start to eat a flatfish. Filmed in a rockpool at Newbiggin in Northumberland. The larger creatures are hermit crabs and the smaller ones are shore crabs. To give you an idea of scale, the shore crabs are about half the size of the nail on your little finger, yet are far more aggressive than the hermit crabs.
The sounds that you can sometimes hear are curious hermit crabs behind the underwater camera tapping and scratching to find out more about it.
