I like JLC. I think she would be good. I much prefer the idea that popped up a few years ago, where Octavia Spencer was going to play Jessica. Although, I remember thinking at the time, that Spencer was a bit young for the role. So JLC might be good.

@hx3trapped JLC is very quirky and talented so it's a good fit. I'm curious to see what her version of Angela Lansberry looks like on film.

@Garsons-oq4lh I know you're on to something. I feel like some of these reboots/remakes should just be called something else so that the new version can have a chance to develop and stand on its own.

Freak Friday was amazing. I love Jamie Lee Curtis… But I would rather see her nephew Grady have a daughter who is just like JB!

Or maaaaaaaybe if JLC comes back as JB’s relative doing the same thing! The 12 seasons of the original show are amazing and Angela and her son end up helping with the show in the later seasons. Though she went through a burn out period and ends up doing a ton of “bookend” episodes where she isn’t even the main character. But she sure came back with a vengeance for the end!
