That's not remotely how this works 😑. He's responsible for her and the baby financially, the moment the dna results claim him as the father. Unless Mia AND the father agreed in advance to let him free of his father's duties, which is unlikely, he killed her because he knew he was going to have to pay child support starting at 16. You dont just get to sign away that you dont want to be a father without the mothers, ok, or legal contract. The guy even says that in 9:13.

I find it disgusting people here are judging the parents for choosing to be happy about their grandchild over I guess rejecting the child because the mother is 16…. Would I want my daughter to be a mother at 16? No, I wouldn’t and I would be heart broken but I would suck it up to be everything my daughter needed and ensure she wasn’t going through it all alone. Yes, I would be excited and happy to meet my grandchild. A baby is a blessing and that child would be my grandchild regardless of the circumstances. These parents did exactly what any parent should do in the situation. They loved and supported their daughter when she likely needed it most.
