You should read "Even If We Break" by Marieke Nijkamp. It's about this group of friends, who have their intertwined drama, go to a cabin to play dungeons and dragons and it goes horribly wrong. It's nerds, queer characters, and a great YA thriller.

Congratulations! This is brilliant news, and as a fellow lover of thrillers, I can't wait to read your take on the YA isolation trope. I loved Silent Night by Nell Pattison, but it wasn't really isolation like I find in the adult thrillers.
