Happens Sandeep.. our roads are unpredictable. Now that you have experience, you will be subconsciously careful. As you said avoid travel when visibility is poor and enjoy your ride with proper rest. Bro, appreciate your honesty in sharing every experience (good / bad) you come across. But end this trip asap. For your next trip take a touring bike, stop at places and meditate before you make quick (hasty) decisions. Touring need not be so 'adventurous' as you put it. If you google 'adventure bike rides in india' you will notice the duration to be several days.

Bro my suggestion for not getting your jacket wet , buy a oversize rain jacket form decathlon or somewhere and wear on top your riding jacket even pant too, your riding gear wont get wet and don't have to make it dry that's from experience i got to know... safe journey...

I can see u are a bike enthusiast but my suggestion would be stay safe in India it’s not safe at all to travel during night and most importantly roads aren’t safe due to livestock roaming freely on road so be careful and make sure u always wear u r safety gear all time and try to avoid u r rush many times we are 100% right while riding but never trust on opposite driver situation they might be high on alcohol,drugs etc even early hours are not safe as well to travel at all best time would be 7 am to 9pm
