Tae mentioned that the album is called ‘layover’ as it’s a stop in a journey and not the final destination. He said it reflects his plan to do several albums trying out different styles until he reaches his final goal (destination) with the sound he wants to express with his music. This album is to show us his real musical tastes as Kim Taehyung and not bts v. Tae says it’s an album we should listen to on the road, when we get back from work, at sunset to chill, de-stress and relax. His aim is not billboard charts, but to put out authentic music that reflects him a part of him as a person. Tae’s music is for the connoisseurs of fine music and this album is a timeless classic and all the songs are growers, the more you listen to them then better they keep sounding. Love that Tae said no no to the mainstream pop music, didn’t follow that band waggon and said nope, I’m gonna give you my own genre. ‘Blue’ and ‘For Us’ are a chef’s kiss on an amazing album

This album is magnificent and the concept is more complex because all MV are connecting, all songs are perfect to me but my favorite are Blue and For us because this two songs are very special with an extraordinary use of Taehyung’s voice and experimental. I LOVE this MV! It's so aesthetically beautiful and the song is so relaxing. It definitely suits the romantic sunset/evening kind of vibe. Happy Tae is toooo adorable and such a ray of sunshine whenever he smiles. I totally agree with your analysis of the MV. He's trying to create his own virtual happy getaway world to escape to or maybe reminisce happy memories. This album is such a vibe and screams Tae. I personally love how the albums of each member are so different from each other. Everyone is able to do whatever they love and show who they are. what's funny is that with BTS as a group going on"hiatus" do to military armys were sad and thought that not much content will be released, but we literally got 7 times the content and with Tae's release we get a MV EVERY OTHER WEEK 😂 and we still ain't done with his promo shows like running man, etc. and while we getting a meal their JK out here going out of Korea cooking up something else for us and also doing hour long lives, then we got RM telling us to anticipate another album like you ain't telling me we aint being well fed cause honestly we the luckiest fandom out their...so as such all armys need to support all 7 of our boys because they just keep giving us so much!💜

. He is seen at the end scanning himself so that he creates a dancing V in the virtual world. The virtual world is trippy as a result of his creation because in a virtual world you just can, like tannins (his dog) showing up in the background in several moments. Tae is not in a lift but in a booth which is using his movements to create dancing Tae in the virtual world. He was aline ina cave in Love me again, He was the only ine in Rainy days, where he was creating sculpcures of his own head, and he is still alone in Slow dancing. He creatwd a whole world and acted as all the people. In this MV even the dog is not real, when he take pictute with Tannie it has a glow to it, showing its not real dog. So he is all alone and there is no way out. We will se where next mvs will get ys. Will he set himself free?. 💜

We're so used to all of BTS music having a deep, philosophical meaning (thank you RM, Suga and JHope 🙂 ha), but remember, this is not BTS music. That's the point. That's one of the reasons they went their separate ways..each trying New things before enlistment. There might be a few similarities/connections between these songs, but nothing to spend hours disecting. V just might be singing/acting/dancing for the enjoyment of it. Wanting to share his music with Army...and That's All. No hidden meaning behind every butterfly, or window, or dance step, or drop of water, representing this, or representing that, just enjoy the beautiful music and beautiful V. It's the most romantic song I've heard in years.

TOTALLY agree. I love this song. It takes me back to my 20s (1970s) when I started listening to a lot of jazz. But Tae makes it new and fresh, almost creating his own genre. I've watched the video numerous times, seeing things I missed before, but never without smiling the entire time. I'm so proud of him. No wonder he's my bias.

Slow Dancing is very Queer coded. All the model/dancers are LGBTQIA+ He didn't write the lyrics, so the "GIRL" not him. And totally goes against the vibe of the video. It's also the only Gender pronoun used on the entire album. I'm just sayin, maybe our boy has something to say LOWKEY, and I'm 100 for it.❤❤❤
