It's really an illusion. They are not spinning the stick at all, they are actually flipping the stick back up to and over the shoulder. Then flicking it out to a point as they extend the arm. Because of the execution it looks like a complex spin but look closely its really not. Oh, and there really isn't a proper name for it .... different people that do it call it different things.
