How could you not love these two men. The men who graciously portray these beloved characters are just incredible. I am so thankful that Murtagh did not die at Culloden like in the books so that we had him around for a bit longer. Sam just brings me to tears with his acting and passion for this beloved man. God gave me a "Murtagh" just as my marriage was ending. He really helped me and my children make it through a very difficult transition. Sadly he passed in 2004, I miss him every day. He was my best friend.

Everyone does need a Murtagh this made me cry even harder with the music playing with the scenes!! I fell in love with Murtagh as Jamie’s Goddather a d that he was so in love with Jamie’s mother Ellen like Jocasta told him “Ellen made u Jamie’s Godfather” love Jocasta!!

Murtagh was such a loving person to every person in his family!! When Jocasta was singing over Murtagh s grave I started crying so hard at least Murtagh died with love from everyone and Jocasta♥️♥️♥️

Merci d'avoir fait une vidéo pour Murthag qui a une immense importance dans la série et heureusement car ce n'est pas le cas dans les livres de DIANA. Je pense que le talent de l'acteur y est pour quelque chose... effectivement il crève l'écran et il y a une belle alchimie entre cet acteur et ses partenaires . On comprend encore mieux le cheminement affectif de Jamie grâce à la présence de son parrain qui apparaît comme son père de substitution. Sa mort laisse un vide total et on pleure avec Jamie. Respect profond pour l'acteur qui a si merveilleusement joué ce rôle, un des plus importants après nos deux héros adorés.

I hated the fact that Murtagh saw Jamie wearing a British red coat uniform the very last time that they were together. I feel like Jamie probably hated that as well. This was so heartbreaking to watch.
