I find it funny Eragon becomes a brother to a dwarf and Murtagh becomes a brother of an urgal. Now all is left is for Eragon to marry Arya and Roan becomes a brother of an elf.

@@conorreads have to remember what Chris said in the interview of brsinger and inheritance. The story has always been about the three brothers. Eragon, Murtagh and Roan. It is coming. Ether through Eragon marriage to Arya and or there will be another way Roan becomes a brother of an elf. I could be wrong. But the story has always been about them.

I loved this book but there was so much pain I almost DNFd from pain overload. I sobbed and nearly gave up reading when human sacrifice started. Thankfully Paolini knew when to say enough is enough and that was just when the tide finally turned but yeah, it hurt.😢 Murtagh was my fave of the original series so I went into this book with favouritism bias! Naturally it ended being my favourite book now, who knew?!😂

This book is a pretty stark contrast to the typical whimsy and fantasy of the original set, and that’s not a bad thing as it totally makes for Murtagh and Thorn. At times I was definitely angry or a bit bored with how Murtagh and Thorn were acting, but it all came together in the end. Overall I liked the book and I am looking forward to what comes next. And my favorite character growing up was always Eragon 🤷🏼‍♂️. I just wanted to be a dragon rider and have blue dragon like Saphira man 😂

I’m not sure I can say the same overall, there were long periods I felt it was losing me. However, I will of course read whatever comes next

I only read books 1-3 as a kid so I’ll be skipping this one. But I’m happy for you that this happened to your favorite characters. Or sad. Or both. Choose as many as apply. 😂
