Father in law is a wise man. Narrator got lucky his father in law sensed it or he would have been long dead. Not sure why people encounter these things but still keep their mouth shut until it’s almost too late.

Please don't delete, Jenny, since my other comment is gone. But hmong need to stop throwing their dab trash anywhere, even if they think other people won't find it. If you can get to an isolated spot, that means someone can get there too. Either bury it or burn it! Why do hmong want to leave this type of trash for others to eventually find and then they unsuspectingly take that bad spirit home? It's so dumb! But you're right, brother. Those people who dumped it there by the river were lazy. They already know people fish around the river and that people will find it.

The point of this ritual is so someone else finds it. Or the elements destroys the stuff
@MonaLisa-de4cpАй бұрын
@@nightowl7261 whether that's true or not, that tradition is stupid. Also, "would have or should have = would've/should've " and not "would of or should of."

Let me just tell you a few common places in MN that hmoob people often do that.. 1) wirth lake by hwy 55/olson memorial hwy. 2) basset creek in the glenwood area 3) phalen lake 4) como lake Number 1 and 2 greatly because there were public houses in that area where a lot of hmong came to live when they first arrived in America. I personally have experience an attachment that lasted more than 15 years of my life which caused me to experienced multiple super natural situations to the point where it no lingers frightened me. #3- phalen lake is closed to public housing areas where hmong people came to settle as well.

Hmong people need to find a better way to bring the spirit back home. And don't throw on the streets, so an innocent person has to deal with it.

Cov xa dab rau tej chaw neeg mus yos ua si ces ntshe yog cov tub hluas xwb. Kuv yeej hnov ob zaug lawm uas cov laus muab cob rau cov hluas xa mus es lawv tsis paub, lawv ho xa mus rau tej chaw neeg mus ua si. Tiag tiag mas yuav tsum muab rau ib tug neeg paub tab xa mus. There's 2 trail in town that my family and I avoid because of this exact reason and it's not an excluded trail; it's a popular one where people always go walking/hiking too.
