Thank you tommydan 55, I have enjoyed every bit of this movie, many many times i have listened songs of this movie. as usual OP Nayyar Sahab ka jawab nahi. When I was watching this movie I had a feeling like that I am traveling in a Time Machine, and realised that I am in 1955 with Karan Diwan, Shyama, Johny Walker, Shammi and Om Prakash. Actually it took me some time to get back to 2016 as a good old man. Thank you, Thank you and Thank you.

I chuckled when reading that. Yes, movies such as this one allow us to forget our problems and our infirmities and lose ourselves in the world of yesteryear when we were young and healthy and handsome and didn't have a care in the world. And thanks for your continued support Mr. Khanna. Yes, there will be more. Unlike the other channels that just upload as-is, it takes me a long time to prepare these things. Progress is slow. And then the thieves steal them immediately. This film alone already has five separate false copyright claims on it, even though Musafir Khana went out of copyright at the beginning of 2016. Do you know any good and honest copyright attorneys?

Hi Tom Went through your comments. I would have been very glad to help you but unfortunately I do not know any honest copyright attorneys. But I would request you to be very careful in selecting movies for your channel which should not violate copyright act. Be very firm on this point. Thank you. Unfortunately, before I decided to make this a collection of public domain videos, I had already uploaded quite a lot of videos that are still under copyright. Still, that doesn't excuse the corrupt companies here on KZbin from claiming copyright on out-of-copyright videos such as this one. There are now seven separate claims on this public domain film, when there shouldn't be any.

I'm pretty familiar with the law, yes. And I've had some very good instruction from one of the most knowledgeable copyright attorneys in India. Public performances are different than film performances. They can often be blocked for legitimate sound recording or music composition copyright reasons. For films, there's no such thing as a sound recording copyright (as much as Saregama disagrees), whether the film is in or out of copyright, because the sound recording copyright is a part of the film copyright and doesn't stand alone. Of course, for films out of copyright there are no copyright claims at all, except illegal ones here. And even for films still under copyright, the claim of copyright is sometimes a false one. These greedy companies know no limits. Just read the copyright law sometime as it's quite clear. Or read the Indian government's explanation of it here: copyright.gov.in/Documents/handbook.html

I'm not convinced the song is in the movie, but might be only on the soundtrack LP. In any event, it wasn't on the tape of the movie I was given. Sorry

Well, I certainly didn't remove it. It wasn't on the tape I used for the source. In a comment on that song (with only a picture and not video to accompany it), someone said, "Thanks a lot for this rarest of rare songs since it is not to be found on the VCD, CD, or VHS videotape of the movie. Is this from a 78 rpm record? Narsingh"

I am aquinted with heroine, Shayama and two comedians, Gope and Johnny Walker. All three are asset of Indian cinema. But fail to recognise the patan comedian and the side heroine. The hero is also not in my memory. The role of side heroine is also not familiar to me. Good entertaining film with Arabic translation, but I fail to have translation of Hindi bytes and songs.
