When it feels overwhelming I like to think about the fact that someday, it will all be over. My eyes will close and rest forever and my soul will makes it way wherever it is guided. I’m not here for very long and I don’t have enough time to lay about for too long. I need to become the man my people need me to be. I need to, else I’ll be leaving them without ever showing them how much they mean to me.

This picture kinda captures what most of us feel, laying in what feels like a beating brought by the universe but still taking the worse and making it our time to relax no matter what, or atleast thats what i have been doing. Taking the worse and using it as a excuse to relax in a field and stare at the stars.

"Its not about being better than someone else. Its about being better than you were yesterday" This quote from the book has helped me a lot, especially today. Hopefully it shall resonate with you, as well. Keep going, dont lose focus. But, you can still get lost in your thoughts and in peace. 🕊😁
@ericsep31022 жыл бұрын
pov: you have had a long day, the recent events that had unfolded has left an insightful depth into the way you have lived your life at this point. All that hard work focused onto had little to no effect. You're exhausted. Physically and mentally. Yet laying there as the world crumbles in in itself around you. Falling deeper and deeper, enshrouded to the pit of despair and nothingness. As you slowly become one with this bottomless well of sadness. Then came a moment which you can't help but acknowledge the tiny speck of light from the corner of your eye dancing like a leaf in the wind. Bringing your focus on it you can't help but curl the edges of your lips. You're tired... yet feel aspire from the wisdom you now possess. A tiny piece of a life lesson to carry oneself from one dark corner of the mind. The world is beyond your control, however that doesn't mean you let it control your reaction from any outcome. You may not control a lot though it does not mean it comes across to be meaningless. Sinking back into reality you feel a little relax and easiness sweeps over you. Today may have not been your best, but tomorrow like any other is the start of a fresh new beginning. p.s. Let it be known this feeling I've written is one I'm not sure everyone has felt this experience. I'll be honest with you, it's one that I have experience a decade ago when I was a kid. It may sound a little stupid or my anxiety trying to burrowing its way into my mind again but thinking back my emotions when I was little seem to have an untaped sensation of raw emotion to anger, sadness, love, joy, and curiosity. As children, kids have a hard time putting their emotions through their words and being able to express them. For example, when anger struck me as a kid my mom and aunts laugh at me because I would tense my front edges of my brow too much becoming a silly face. Sorry for rambling for so long. I was shy, quiet kid once and found love being able to conveying my emotions and intent into dialogue. Though I am finding it a little tricky finding worthwhile friends at my side. Loneliness is contagious you know ha ha. Yet strangely enough found a little peace of mind instead. Not what I desired at first but greatly appreciated it in my calm solitude shedding away from worldly possessions. I'm 20 and about to be 21 in the new year although despite it I feel like an old man who already experience life sitting on top of some good wisdom. It's a good stat to have in d&d and glad to have it. And again I apologize going off with words. It just felt right. That and felt a little poetic aspired (and I'm no poet) from the middle of Overlord the light novel. If you made it this far then you're a nerd, nerd. lol sorry couldn't resist. I got myself muddled with sincerity and sentiment with this entire comment. So I bid you all good health and fortune with your future endeavors. p.s.s. This is music is ART. I literally cried to this piece. Especially because of the manga. Didn't read it but had gone through a summary from a video around this site. I'm not saying it should be a substitute (finding this word in my head last minute) to knowing this great masterpiece. In fact you'll find greater satisfaction and joy if you'd go read the series. So don't sell yourself short doing what I did. Trust me, reading is richer than simply watching it. edit: p.s.s.s Bless this hidden beautiful corner of the internet 🌸🌸🌸

i don't have people that really care about me besides my family, just 'friends' that want me close only in my good times. It's not like i'm a lonely guy, i'm extrovert in social events actually, but i haven't created any deep connections yet even in my past relationships, it's like some fear and defense mechanism of my part for not being emotionally attached on someone else too. I have a decent life, i'm healthy and muscular, i got called handsome by another people many times and i have a lovely and caring family, they just don't know that i feel very lonely inside in moments like that, and as a man i can't tell them. I don't have anyone who truly cares about my feelings to talk with.
