I don't know if you ever noticed, but Avogadro, the mole boss, is immune to the blind status. I thought that was a cute detail. Also, it's a math joke. His hp, 602, is Avogadro's Constant, colloquially known as a mole. Edit: @The Doctor kindly has the correct info about moles and Avogadro's Constant below.

Avogadro's constant is not called a mole. Did you fail first year chemistry mate? The units are molecules/mole. Avogadro's constant, if anything is an inverse mole. There are 6.022e23 molecules in a mole. A mole is a unit of measurement used by chemists and defines any molecule or atom to be a mole if there are a collective of 6.022e23 of them.

@@TheBoredPhysicist the difference between “Avogadro’s number/constant” and “one mole” is pretty much just philosophical. You can use moles to count anything, if you have N_a chairs you have one mole of chair. The only difference is that the former describes the number of chairs, while the latter describes the “amount of chair”, but they both mean the same thing. So while you’re right that N_a and 1 mol aren’t synonyms, as one is a number and one is a unit of measurement, they do both describe the same thing.

It should totally be upgraded to a boss relic, and given a downside. Sealed Conviction, for example, gives a flat +2/+2, but -1 discards. I get the downside is "If you crit, your damage goes to garbage," but that's easily mitigated by high crit orbs like Daggorb. Maybe give it -1 refreshes? But I don't know how that would "thematically" work, unless you rebrand the item. Call it "Refresh Orbsorber" or something? Devs, if you are reading this, feel free to all of it. I'd be honored.

@@eshelynn But by using that high crit orb you're actually losing damage overall defeating the point of the Broccoli as at that point you're doing a critical build. Similarly you're not certain to get crit orbs. The complaints of this being completely overpowered are forgetting that you need multiple items in conjunction to actually make use of it. Yeah if I get a refresh orb with a few bomb relics I can have infinitely respawning bombs and do millions of damage from those alone. That is the thing with Pegglin, you're trying to get to these builds not remove them while having the base game be possible when you get 0 synergy. Without Broccoli and just a couple relics and orbs you can be more powerful because crits don't undo you.

@@Buglin_Burger7878 all of the characters start with Daggorb, though? And, for me, it's usually one of the last orbs one removes from your deck. I suppose it is easy to accidentally hit a crit, ruining your damage. Maybe just making it an event relic like life steal or poker chip? Tie it to the chef, perhaps?

How do you unlock the new characters? I have the update (new orbs and relics, etc), but not the arrows next to the banner that let you switch from Peglin to Roundrel, etc.

An achievement for each one: you unlock Balladin by getting 100+ ballwark, and you unlock Roundrel by applying 50+ ballution to a single enemy.

Fun video, but I'd like you to actually focus in on the status effect build. Getting a classic/vanilla super strong build isn't as interesting as trying to make the status effects the star of the show.

I think the video is more fun when he is having fun. Unless you tryhard or use restart exploits like Spiffing Brit showcased, it's really hard to naturally get a good run on a super focused build. He could use Custom Start, but that's more for goofing around than exploring the game, in my opinion.

@@eshelynn He doesn't really explore the game though. He tends to go for the same set of orbs and items every run. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the video, but I would like to see people explore different builds more. I can't get the game because I'm a broke ass b!tch and gotta focus on other things, so i have to live vicariously through videos like these. In the end, I'm just giving my honest and polite feedback on what more content I would like to see be made for videos of this game

@@Yaeza31 yeah, roguelikes are like that sometimes. They are mostly about playing the hand you are dealt, and if you are consistently given bouldorb, which typically goes extremely well, you are gonna go for that. That being said, since you don't know, the game does have a mode where you can customize your starting relics and orbs, but you have to have unlocked them by collecting them in normal play.A poison build can get really silly, though, with the right orbs, but I haven't encountered any relics that work with it myself. And at the end of it all, all builds ultimately build up to just trying to get your numbers as big as possible while keeping your Important Number above 0, anyways.
