I remember listening to this song 2 years ago. Still a great song with powerful lyrics! Everything said is true about Hmong Americans this day and age. I was born and raised in America and my parents are very traditional. However, I barely started learning about my roots and traditions. I may be young (early 20's) but I have been seeing a lot of my relatives, friends, etc. slowly pushing away learning them. This saddens me seeing our traditions slowly pushed away and not wanting to learn it to pass it down to our children if not the younger generation.
