Is the closeness part of this tour? You're really up there, they're really up close, an awesome experience. The boys always seem so far away and out of reach, adding to their rock star aura, but here they are brought down a notch and more human. More emotional as it is easier to feed off of them during the show. Matt is in your face absolutely shredding. It's great! Definitely a change in the show from the grandiose mega tour, which was awesome, too in its own right.

Definitely slower. I’m SO glad they slowed it back down. It’s always been way too rushed in the past, even the LP versions sound too quick during the chorus compared to this. It’s pure prog and taking it down a bit adds so much.

I mean no one stays young forever, and Muse vocals are not the easiest to sing. He wrote this in his early twenties and everyone's voice deteriorates over time, it's only natural. Watch the official pro shot of Compliance in Exeter, I think he sounds better than ever.

Its not ageing... He suffered a vocal disease some time ago while fishing with a wet shirt. His voice was never the same since. But its gradually getting better.
