Matt once said that he trusts only melodies that are locked in his mind for a while. Those appear in songs

The last part of The Globalist and Drones were rearranged versions of compositions by Giovanni Pierluigi and Elgar so that kinda makes sense (it says it in the CD booklet)

Matt did say in an interview with Q magazine recently Drones is an album in which everything they've done in the past albums connects together and said it might be their last proper album.

If they start releasing eps every year though than I wouldn't be against that but if they mean by releasing a single or two every 3 years or so than I'm really not for this idea

+Matthew Corcoran Matt and Dom both said that instead of making an album they'll probably start releasing singles. My assumption is they're going to go in the studio this year in september/october and go in the studio and work on a song or two, release it, then have a smaller tour with more rarities put into it as opposed to having a large long tour dedicated to an album. But I think we'll get another LP from them in like 3 or 4, maybe 5 years of releasing singles and short tours, which would've been put on an album.

+TheMuseArchive oh ok, a single every six months wouldn't be bad as long as they would combine the songs onto a album.

1:50 In your world is a finished song and not just a random melody.. I dont think its that similar to the handler just because of the guitar tapping..

Just because it's finished doesn't mean they're not allowed to reference the song in their other songs

For The Globalist, I was thinking more of the Resistance live intro, but yeah, I guess they hinted at it in 2003 with Time is Running Out.

I think he makes it (takes different motives from all around the world) coz he feels his mission is in connection with the whole time and space, their reocurrence and circulation.

we know Bach, but we need to mention that compositions of Bach were also a product of his time, some motives were just a slightly changed and complicated ones of other early composers.

Fairly certain any old examples of Matt tapping are nowt to do with Reapers tbh. He’s just doing standard tapping scales like anyone else might.

Really, does it sound like a shit for you? Because you, obviously don't need any sort of courage or hope. It's the same Muse telling you, you have to be strong. It's the same Muse telling you, they feel the pain and confusion and they've found a way to escape. Sorry but that doesn't deserve to be called "shit".

Ricardo Valladares I think it's good, radio head just released a 20 year old song on their latest album, but the problem with muse is that they could have done it a lot better, psycho riff was just used too much and of course the album lyrics should have focuses on the concept of drones rather than slamming in our face that it is a concept album

oshck oshck I disagree... I loved this CD. I felt this went back to the harder roots of muse after the 2nd law. Not that any Muse CD is bad because it's not. If you were a true Muse fan you would know that Muse plays the music they want, money has nothing to do with it.
