Earlier this year, Sam Glover, a friend of ours, suddenly and unexpectedly died aged just 29. It was a tremendous shock to everyone that knew him, and in particular of course to his family.
This arrangement was originally performed at Sam's memorial service - just one of many moving tributes made that day, as it's no exaggeration to say that Sam was well-loved by all who knew him.
Muse was one of his favourite bands, so we carefully chose a song that we felt was appropriate and that he would have enjoyed.
The location for this video, our old sixth form college, was chosen because it was where we had known and spent time with Sam during our studies there - this hall played host to many concerts and performances where we and our friends had made music together.
Today's date, 21st September 2017, also has a special significance - it would have been Sam's 30th birthday.
Rest in peace, Sam. We miss you.

+discodubber85 I did have a bit of a cry in a few takes, if you look carefully in the closeups you can see my eyes are a bit red and watery. Concentrating on playing it correctly usually gets me through somehow though.
