Is it? Pretty sure this is one of the best known as its on a popular album of theirs. Underrated would be Muscle Museum or Darkshines imo.

i wholeheartedly believe this statement. MoP is arguably my fav song, and I feel like its overlooked all the time

@@GT.Bugger no, definitely underrated. Though it’s the song that first got me into them years back. Yes the album is popular but there are tons of underrated songs on popular albums

my favorite thing about this is song is while playing live, Matt changed the lyrics to "since I lost you" after his breakup few years ago.

The album this song came from was the most muse album muse ever mused. So it makes sense that this sounds like a very muse muse song.

Thank you for this reaction, one of my favorite songs ever written, been listening to it for 15 years! This song is definitely a grower, there's so many layers of synth and guitar in the background that it took me tons of listens before I heard it all, have a great day everyone.

I think this is the album that elevated them to stadium level band. I think they were always very popular in England but not so much in the rest of the world before this one. The album has a lot of bangers.
@ahabbellamy80983 жыл бұрын
Nah. I think Absolution album that put them on the map. And because of Absolution People started to recognize them more and bought the black holes and revelation album . Blackholes is one of their greatest albums that was released in the right time after Absolution. If another album was released after Absolution they wouldn't have had that much of the success. So I agree with you in a way that this album had a great impact but it's because of Absolution album that led to this success
@mjjohansson17023 жыл бұрын
@@ahabbellamy8098 I'm sure they toured big before black holes. I just meant that this was the first record with wide appeal that appealed to normies who aren't freaks about their music. I can imagine it had an effect on concert attendance at least outside of England.
@Trikkeeroy3 жыл бұрын
Great score for this song considering Muse's extensive repertoire. I was completely sold on this band when I heard the album Origin Of Symmetry. But this Black Holes album really was the peak of their powers.
@inkwisitive3 жыл бұрын
Agreed - Black Holes is for me the perfect mix of Muse’s classical, metal and electronic references combined for some amazing alternative rock! Maybe their most accessible album while incorporating some of their proggiest tendencies, which is a tough thing to do. Also probably Matt’s best quality vocals while they still had a slightly raw delivery - his style from The Resistance has been a bit too theatrical imo.

This was probably my fave song off of Black Holes which was also probably my least fave Muse album even though it was their most commercially successful. This is a really great song live. Not only are Noel and Liam some of the most intriguing rockstars ever but Noels simple yet perfect chord progressions have made for countless hits making them ICONS in the UK and around the world. My personal favourite is Slide away but I’d love to know your opinion of any of their songs especially from live a Knebworth. Appreciate all you do Oasis is godly. As you were 👍
