Hey man. Came back to this video a month later. I didn't learn this song until just today but it's crazy a month ago I couldn't play it at all it was hard now it's easy for me. My independence, rudiments and speed has gotten much better. Thanks for the cover

Does anyone have any tips for the crash cymbals in the build? I've got most of the song down but I just can't wrap my head around those. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for checking out my video! I am happy you enjoyed it. Yes, the crashes can be a bit tricky. It is a two bar phrase, the first crash is on beat one which is played with the snare drum. The second crash is on the & of 4 which is played only with the bass drum (in between both hands playing beats 4 and 1). It helps to count the 8th notes when you are learning it: 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +

I’m a beginner and love this song, amazing cover. I’ve not had to do such fast beats on the hi hat before - how does your left ankle not get exhausted? I can barely manage 4 bars. Also do you play heel up on the bass and heel down for the hi hat?
