There's just something about seeing a crowd of tens of thousands of people pulsate with intensity while they sing about revolution that makes me realize how powerful music can be.

I wonder how many of them know what are singing about...
@eyemaze20727 жыл бұрын
Huh? Uprising lyrics are not that specific, anybody can sing this song with anything they want in their mind.

EyeMaze yeah musics all interpretation. Sure it has one meaning behind it but the best part about art is outside perspectives

LordsShield I think Dire straits was better
@davidecardullo17795 жыл бұрын
oh shit, dire straits is my favorite band but i just saw muse live. I think they've 2 different ways to make live music. Mark Knopfler was a perfect guitarist and ds usually played longer songs than the studio versions, because people could come back home amazed, for solos and music they ve heard that night and they could not listen them anyway from the show. Ds also thought that the songs could "give" more than the first composition. Muse concert is a show, a musica show, a LIGHT show, usually there are lots of other sings that don't concern with the music but make it better. But the songs are very similar to studio version because they use back tracks.

I turned 21 a few days before they played in Arizona. I bought a ticket, took the train to the arena, went by myself, grabbed a beer and had a fucking grand time. Sat next to a nice couple and just jammed out by myself while enjoying a drink. I can not wait until they come back to the States.

I'm very happy to see Muse reaching the top of sucess. And you know why they keep rockin? no, they're not the best band in the world, or ever or so... The thing is: they deserve what they have now, because they have built, gradualy, a solid fan base over the years. Of course they're really good at playing, singing and composing (Matt), but the thing is that they're geninuine musicians. Pure energy, fantastic live entertainers, and more than that.. they play like they're gonna die the next day!

What a song! One of my favorites to play on bass! Deceptively difficult to play smoothly, and very hard to nail the tone, even if musically it's incredibly simple. One HELL of a workout for your little finger as well... took me weeks of practice to be able to play it all the way through.
