I was interested to see if you'd recognize it, as in the live review you were loving the performance of it, but mostly because of the 🔥production🔥 and energy. Definitely an interesting studio track. Also, for anyone wondering what how "4 Stars" translates to the old (and future😂) scoring system, my spidey senses tell me he would have scored it somewhere in the 8.1-8.5 range :) My take: The mix leaves lots to be desired, between the vocals and the bass being buried. I actually LOVE the bass in the last portion of the track, but it's so inaudible, it's a shame. Still fun to listen to. For those that hate it... why so serious, I say. To each their own.

The voice of the vocalist gets lost in the mix and I don't understand half of what he is saying, even with headphones, whoever did it, should learn sound engineering from Depeche Mode. Other than that, it's fine.

Sometimes their latest album, Will of the People, does sound compressed at parts but it's easy to get past. Drones/The 2nd Law were easily when their studio sound was at it's best in my opinion.

Definitely not Muse's greatest era ofc. But i love this song more than the entire ST album and most songs in Drones. This was also my favorite of WOTP. So yeah it's all subjective, if you asked me, this song fucking rocks.

Not a fan. It’s like hearing a watered down version of a Clash song with curse words in it. I could listen to the butthole surfers Goofy’s Concern and get more enjoyment from that.
