My son was carried in his coffin with this playing. He was 27 and the biggest Muse fan ever. Four songs played at his funeral and all of them Muse 5 years later and this is the first time I’ve had the strength to listen to it again My daughter and I have silver lockets with his fingerprints embossed with the words ‘never fade away’ Can hear him in my heart playing his guitar full volume to this. Listening to this is like a dagger going through my heart but needing to feel the pain. Sleep tight x

It's one of those songs where you kinda choose what it means to you. To me it's a song of hope and positivity. The lyric of "I just wanted to hold you in my arms" is simplistic but so touching. Sometimes you do just want something or someone in your arms, who doesn't?

This music to me is just my ounger years. Some of the music from that era didn't hold up necessarily well and some absolutely did like band and this song. Even the stuff that maybe didn't age well i get clouded with awesome memories from car rides with mom, dad, sister. Hearing these songs when they were new i can still remember where i was when i hear them. 2000s music isn't my favorite but they probably give me more goosebumps then almost any era because i can almost relive those memories in a way.

To me the words, 'Far away, this is boat is taking me far away, far away from the memories, of the people who care if I live or dive', speaks volumes to me. Lived on my yacht for 25yrs, I won't die at work or on land. My anthem.

I was always the type of person who would sit and listen to music on the radio. No names, no title, no nothing. This song is one of those songs that always lingered with me. but didn't really know the words. Only the tune. Now that I am older and took the time to start looking up music, I realize how much rock is in my soul, and how much I love it. It gives a whole different feeling that R&B and Hip Hop. Just so soothing. Makes you tap your feet on the floor, nod your head, your heart drop. I don't know. maybe it's me, or I'm over exaggerating, but.......I just love it.
@kaseybersin18248 жыл бұрын
Demerria P I feel ya. I think that rock artists feel a little more happy or get a feeling rather than hip hop or pop aritsts. You're bringing a new sound, your own creative sound in your music as a rock aritsts and feel happy with yourself when your bringing this to others. Not that hip hop or country or pop artists don't feel exited or happy while preforming, I just think that rock can pack a new sound in every song.
@kaseybersin18248 жыл бұрын
Demerria P NOT that pop music artists don't make. creative music, I was just venting a thought.

insert cancerous username I got you completely. Every music type has its own feeling to bring to others. Like, there's a dance for every genre, but they're not the same moves. Maybe that was a bad analogy. Oh, well, I dig this song in so many ways, and music such as this. It's nice to know there are people that feel the same way I do. Makes me not feel so alone in the musical genre. I think I'm more comfortable. I can sleep at night now! Being around people who listen to other genres more, makes you get touchy about sharing music on your phone. Haha.

@@JaeTaylor-uv6iuThat's heavy. Hang onto that. I know it is so hard to lose people; I've lost too. Life is worth living in spite of that, we must go on living. Suicide is not the answer, it poses more questions, ones that you may be familiar with, like "why" and "could I have done anything differently," I don't want anyone close to you to ask themselves those questions. Life with all of its ups and downs, the brokenness and everything is still worth living because it is a gift. Lord bless you and keep you. If I can help in any way, do not hesitate to reach out.
