They also straight up removed Bastion from the game I'm assuming because of the PC glitch where he can just WW2 an area and drop 800 mortars in a few seconds. I was playing him in a game, died, switched to another hero, then when I went to switch back he was gone.

I think I know what's up with this. I read somewhere that anyone who starts playing OW2 after it launches would have to slowly unlock the characters through achievements or something. The game might have bugged out and applied that to everyone, even those who played the first OW before. It should get fixed soon

The devs have confirmed that it’s a bug that sometimes occurs when your accounts have trouble merging or something. They are already hot on trying to fix it, as well as other issues.

I played OW1 up until the server went offline. All heroes were unlocked in OW 2. Yesterday, they were all locked bar a few. Everyone in the match was the same.

Normally an hour or 2 before maintenance the heroes are blocked, so every time you see heroes that you have like that it normally means that an hour maintenance is coming

Had this bug and one other also. All the characters were permanently locked and could not be unlocked at all. Also, had my console and pc accounts merged and didn't have anything from the console. I did a support ticket and they fixed both problems. Then my friends list wasn't working. A relog one more time in the queue and that fix that problem also.
