I bought an atlas master HO train and when i first tested it i thought is was broken because the lights where on but it wasn’t moving and i could hear a nasty sound. Then it just started to slowly move and increasing speed, but still making noise. I took off the shell and tested it again and realized it had a speaker that sounded like crap. The box doesn’t even say it has sound, only that it has a decoder DCC system. The speaker sounds terrible and isn’t much louder than the train its self. Im thinking of buying your speaker, but how do you control the sound? Is there some wireless remote i could use?

It would depend on what brand of decoder it has. Atlas used QSI, then ESU, sound decoders but if the box doesn't indicate factory sound, it could have any of the 6 or so brands of sound decoders. You can email me a pic of the chassis/electronics to [e-mail].
