This is one of the most sublime performances i have heard by a chamber ensemble. The communication and sensitivity is gob smacking. Being able to play in such an ensemble, let alone listening to one, makes the day to day work of scales etc bearable. And to see Fergus, had some lessons with him back in the 70s in Toronto, brings a smile as i think of of those halcyon days.

Sorry. To me it sounds labored, studied and weak. This music needs a bigger sound. Musetta is boasting about her sexual appeal. This sounds like it’s coming out of a Puritan spinster.
