The groucho marx bio pic that she mentions at the end was something he has been wanting to do but he said that's not happenning. Nobody will fund his projects unless it's a horror movie of some kind. He has wanted to do a few non horror movies but Hollywood has pigeon holed him as a horror director only. I for one would like to see him direct other genres. He seems like he's getting burned out on the horror stuff. Even the greats like Carpenter and Craven and others had to switch it up every now and again and make something else.

I love Rob Zombies work.. but I just watched 3From Hell and was a bit disappointed. I don’t think it lived up to the previous movies.. IMO It seemed a bit like the movie was just slapped together.. and for awhile I honestly thought this could’ve bin a parody.. especially throughout the beginning of the movie. I think they really should’ve done more. Side note: The acting from those three was excellent. And I still enjoyed the movie overall.

There are still a handful of horror titles that have yet to be remade, but most of the properties have been revisited in one form or another. I'm anxious to see what Blumhouse has done with it's reincarnation of "Black Christmas"; the 2006 version is kind of a guilty pleasure for me, but it doesn't share the spirit of the original. There have been 1 or 2 remakes that were direct to video and a couple that didn't quite capture mainstream recognition; for example, "Silent Night, Deadly Night." Surprisingly, one that has yet to be touched is "Hellraiser." And apparently Clive Barker has written a few scripts in his repeated attempts to interest the studios in an updated version where the characters have the same names and the story is almost exactly the same -- for some reason, no interest yet. We'll miss you Sid! #RIP

She was fairly strong in the second half of 3 From Hell, but not strong enough as a lead. She looks lovely and is adequate in supporting roles. The Devil's Rejects was a masterpiece with a perfect, redemptive ending. Unfortunately, 3 From Hell diminishes its predecessor. Poorly-written script with too much padding in the dialogue. This sequel was unnecessary.

i think house of 1000 corpses had a different vibe to it it completely different style of horror movie which i liked better .they actually had a smaller version of hell under that house with deformed inbreds tunnels weird demons and all . to me 3 from hell is more of a crazed evil serial killer movie as oppose to house 1000 corpses supernatural evil type crazy shit with those demonic serial killers . and the dad actually being a real demon living in those tunnels with that scary ass doctor still alive still experimenting on people the 3 have been killing or feeding to the demons with rituals and all . . Rob should make another movie much more simular to original 1000 corpses and put marilyn manson in there as a tall skinny demon as son of dr satan lol longer fingers and all type shit that would be the best addition possible to this series in my opinion anyways !
