Museum 5 Minutes- Chertsey Museum, October 2021

For our second "Museum 5 Minutes" we were joined by Grace Evans, Keeper of Costume at Chertsey Museum.
In her presentation: Fashioning a Century; an Introduction to the 19th Century Dress holdings of The Olive Matthews Collection, Chertsey Museum, Grace Evans will give a brief overview of an important group of 19th century pieces. These form part of the Olive Matthews Collection of Dress, which consists of over 6,000 items dating from c.1600 to the present. The introduction will outline the collection’s 19th century holdings, focusing in on significant highlights.
