As a black guy, I also have a dukes of Hazzard General Lee in my collection as well. I'm actually a fan of the Confederate flag design. History is something we should all be able to look at and learn from. It was what it was, and we shouldn't pretend like it never happened. I love the car, the iconic horn and the fact that they never opened the doors. they just jumped through the window 😁. Watching your collection showed me how much I actually missed while collecting. It's just one thing that I didn't see in your collection. and that would be the Mighty Orbots. It seems like a lot of people missed out on that show. Not to mention Jayce and the Wheel Warriors.

Many people will argue that the 90s animated series was the best and while it was good and launched a new Era of superhero cartoons, the story animation and overall arc of spectacular is still the best in my opinion.

“Based on the art style of…Paul Dini….” JLA Unlimited was based on the art style of Bruce Timm. His style was used for all of the DC shows based in the Batman Animated Series universe. Paul Dini was one of the writers and he created Harley Quinn. The new upcoming show Batman Caped Crusader reunites them for an all new take on this universe set in the 1940s and more Film Noir than ever. Harley returns and is now Asian and new takes on others. Hopefully Mcfarlane will give us something memorable toy-wise.

This is such an amazing collection!! What are some of your favorite 5" Toybiz Avengers and X-Men figures? I have a couple of them and I'm thinking of getting more. Also, what flat stands do you use to keep your Legends standing? Not sure if the pumpkin counting contest is still going but here's my tally! I counted 5 total (I thought there might be a 6th one underneath one of the classic Lego space station sets, but I don't *think* that's a pumpkin). Thanks for the great comment! I don't know how I missed it on my earlier viewings, but you had me at "200x MOTU!" I feel the exact same way; I was a huge fan of the filmation cartoon, and the vintage figures didn't resonate because they didn't resemble their cartoon counterparts. But when the 200x line and show came out when I was in high school, I fell in love with the franchise all over again. (And it was easier for a high school/college-aged Sean to rationalize buying these highly detailed statues back before nerd loves were mainstream!) Now I've got half a dozen MOC, And I just completed the original releases of the heroic and evil warriors! I'll have to post a pic in the FB group some time. @@CarbonScoring I know. I need to raid my parents house. I found some of my old G1 Throttlebots and Rock Lords the last time I was over there. I have a pretty extensive collection of Exo-Squad toys over there as well.

Your collection is AWESOME. I have a question for you or anyone reading this. I've searched the interwebs and can't find an answer to this: What all came in the box with the Original 1978 Kenner Landspeeder. Obviously the landspeeder and cardboard insert, but did it have an instruction sheet? One of those small Catalog Booklets? or maybe both. Please help, I'm trying to slowly build my own collection and want everything to be as close to original as possible. Thank you.

I am not sure. I usually check rebelscum.com but I don't think they have the answer. I don't remember vintage star wars toys coming with a catalogue the way GI Joes did. I imagine there was some form of instructions as I think you had to put the windshield on, but I do not think you had a sticker sheet with any decals to apply

Gosh! I just ❤ your lounge! I’ve watched parts of this twice. One more question, are your glass cases with the door bought or custom made?
@CarbonScoring2 жыл бұрын
Everything down there is custom - it is an unusual space and none of the available cases could do what I needed

Thank you for this video friend! You have a superb collection & most of the toys that I see here, I wish that I had them when I was a child like the Starcom collection. That is a sweet toyline. I have my Gi.Joes, Motu, Kenner Super Powers & M.A.S.K.

Hey Dave! Thanks for the watch! Starcom is for sure one of the most underrated toy lines ever!

@@CarbonScoring indeed it is. You're welcome my friend! I love the way that it had those little magnets built in and they were used to activate action features from the toy vehicles. Without a doubt a wonderful toyline for sure. 👍

They were from a very short lived line called Marvel Legends Unleashed from around 2007 - 8 inch tall super articulated figures. I only have those two from the line. Thanks for watching with an eagle eye!
