Great video and collection. As a fellow collector I love seeing how others actually display their collections. Its truly an art form and adds so much to the overall look. Excellent job! Just a note that I own a graphic design company and one of the things I do most frequently is create custom back drops for figure collections. They can be of any image and out of materials like vinyl for durability. Just reach out if you would like details or pictures. Thanks and happy collecting!

I love this video. And I must agree even though I grew up watching almost all of the Spider-Man cartoons now age 38, spectacular Spider-Man was the best. Many people will argue that the 90s animated series was the best and while it was good and launched a new Era of superhero cartoons, the story animation and overall arc of spectacular is still the best in my opinion.

This is such an amazing collection!! What are some of your favorite 5" Toybiz Avengers and X-Men figures? I have a couple of them and I'm thinking of getting more. Also, what flat stands do you use to keep your Legends standing? Not sure if the pumpkin counting contest is still going but here's my tally! I counted 5 total (I thought there might be a 6th one underneath one of the classic Lego space station sets, but I don't *think* that's a pumpkin). I hope I got them all! 1- GI Joe prison 2- Speed Racer car 3- Lego AT-AT 4- Empire Strikes Back Lego opening scene (in the blue container) 5- Toybiz 5" MODOK
@CarbonScoring3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the great comment! First - here is a link to the flat stands I use for Legends - They don't really fit the peg holes, so I just use hot glue to get the figs in the position I want - I have never found this to damage the figures and it is very easy to remove. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013CRCOIS/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B013CRCOIS&linkCode=as2&tag=carbonscoring-20&linkId=82ea1a4f7dcd91c434d370f76717c269 I have several shelves dedicated to the 5 inch Toy Biz lines of the 90's and I plan on doing a video to review them soon. As you know, there are some great figures in those lines. You were very close with the pumpkins, but you missed a couple...

Your collection is AWESOME. I have a question for you or anyone reading this. I've searched the interwebs and can't find an answer to this: What all came in the box with the Original 1978 Kenner Landspeeder. Obviously the landspeeder and cardboard insert, but did it have an instruction sheet? One of those small Catalog Booklets? or maybe both. Please help, I'm trying to slowly build my own collection and want everything to be as close to original as possible. Thank you.
@CarbonScoring3 жыл бұрын
I am not sure. I usually check rebelscum.com but I don't think they have the answer. I don't remember vintage star wars toys coming with a catalogue the way GI Joes did. As a black guy, I also have a dukes of Hazzard General Lee in my collection as well. I'm actually a fan of the Confederate flag design. History is something we should all be able to look at and learn from. It was what it was, and we shouldn't pretend like it never happened. I love the car, the iconic horn and the fact that they never opened the doors. they just jumped through the window 😁. Watching your collection showed me how much I actually missed while collecting. “Based on the art style of…Paul Dini….” JLA Unlimited was based on the art style of Bruce Timm. His style was used for all of the DC shows based in the Batman Animated Series universe. Paul Dini was one of the writers and he created Harley Quinn. The new upcoming show Batman Caped Crusader reunites them for an all new take on this universe set in the 1940s and more Film Noir than ever. Harley returns and is now Asian and new takes on others. I'm only interested in marvel, Specifically spider-man. I've been collecting spidey for a long time but the one thing I can't collect right now is figures because it's just way too difficult. Maybe it's because I'm in the uk, or maybe it's because I'm not exactly the most wealthiest guy, but sometimes when I see other peoples collections, I just wanna give up. I don't know how to collect. I mean I really don't. I wanted walls of figures, but never really had the money, I'm now 21, so I still have most of my life ahead of me, But why do I still feel like giving up? Also I disagree with spider-verse being the best movie, there were problems all over the place. The last really enjoyable spider-man movie for me was Spider-Man 3. (:

So, when I was 21, I had maybe a few of the figures from my childhood that I was fighting to hide from my mom to keep her from throwing out. I was in school and would be for 6 more years, so I had no income. It was rare, I mean rare, for me to pick up a figure. Granted, there weren't as many choices back then, but there were still plenty and I would occasionally get a fig here and there. Now, I treasure those figures so much more than many far more expensive figures in my collection. I don't think about the financial value of my collection, I focus on the emotional value. The figures you get when things are the toughest will always be your favorites. One day you will probably have a collection twice as big as mine, but you can't rush time. Enjoy the figures you have- enjoy the hunt for the ones you want and the joy when they are added to your collection. The rest will work itself out. And then when you are my age you will realize that Spider-Man 3 was total crap...hahahaha!

Such a good collection but you lost me when you said you preferred to display the sequel trilogy Star Wars over the prequels. Disgusting

Well, I have 3 shelves of Original Trilogy Hot Toys and one from the sequels if that shows where my allegiances lie

"Ever wonder what a life time of toy collecting looks like" not really, I see it all the time. "I'm not a slob" oh, then no, I've never see that before. Haha

Whats those 2 bigger spidey figs on the last spidey shelf with all the ladies
@CarbonScoring3 жыл бұрын
They were from a very short lived line called Marvel Legends Unleashed from around 2007 - 8 inch tall super articulated figures. I only have those two from the line. Thanks for watching with an eagle eye!
