Very excited for this song. I love your works!!! I’ll put my input on the song after the premiere!! :D Edit: I loved this song!!! It’s very catchy and when I first listened to the instrumentals, it was like I was being transported to a new world. There’s always a whimsical vibe to MushiP’s songs. I also love the art!! I went to analyse it but I'm not that good at that sort of thing so this is just my interpretation!! This song seems to retell Cinderella but with it’s own twist. I’ll call the girl Eve. She plays as Cinderella in here. We see she comes across a witch who grants her a new appearance and turns the pumpkin into a train (or bus) which is an interesting choice. I also like the fact that the ghost from ghost parade (I think) appears in it! I'm not sure what Eve is wearing but I think it’s a cheongsam or something similar. She seems stunned by this, maybe even annoyed or reluctant? Maybe she doesn't want the spotlight. Eve then seems eager to go on the train despite her initial shock and we see a castle. I think it then cuts to her smoking in the castle(?) with the poster “No smoking, no life” which seems to upset the witch as we can see tears in it’s eyes. I think it’s because to the witch, it shows that she’s not worthy of being the “main character.” The witch proceeds to undo their magic. There’s also a reference to “The Scream” at 1:38. We even see the pumpkin with tears. During the scene where she is running away, texts and doodles show up quickly on the screen. Some of the ones I like to note are these: 1. 105 2. A circled F (I feel like this could mean Eve suffers with grades unless I'm just looking too deep into things) 3. A gravestone 4. 17 5. “Why are we here?” 6. A book with the title “Work Hard” 7. “Xene(?) 12” 8. “Look” 9. A spiral 10. A doodle of a shark fin appearing out of the water 11. The word “itching” or “fetching” or some other varient. I’m not too sure. 12. “Signal”(?) 13. “Airon(?) was here” 14. “Not my TEM” I’m not sure if it’s supposed to continue because Eve’s head is next to it. 15. “Two roads diverged in a yellowed __” I’m not sure what to make of these exactly but I think they’re interesting. After the running scene, she seems to be more calmer now. The scene where stars float over her head looks like she’s daydreaming? Or just thinking. She asks if this is what the main character would have wanted or if it’s what everyone would want like she’s trying to be one. It also says that the witch was actually a decoration which sort of makes sense because I think it’s a Buddha statue with just a witch hat and wand. Which makes me think the pumpkin was also just decoration almost like it was a Halloween prop? She seemed to be more confident now at the apple scene. I remember earlier it said “Who’s the right match for the prince” which she seems to express distaste for that but now she said she’s perfect for the prince. Eve then goes back to saying she’s a worthless maid. I think it’s because if she can't be the main character with a happy ending (getting married) then she’ll just go back to being a maid and soon retreating to her room. Maybe she’s comfortable just being a maid rather than being the main character and having the spotlight. I'm not too sure though. This was a interpretation I made at 2 AM so I’m pretty sure someone could probably make a better one haha

this is a really cool interpretation, it was along the lines of what i was thinking when watching the video too!! (also, i think the pumpkin-to-train thing is just a fun reference to muship's interest in trains -- he posts about them quite a bit :•) )
