@@mushroomsforagingadventures I went down highway 14 and turned and went through BZ corners to trout lake. I took the road into the hills from there. We actually found six pine mushrooms, our only ones ever. They were growing on the side of a hill on the way up to lemei trail. We didn't see anymore though. Again thank you so much. I love getting out in the woods and I feel like watching your videos has helped me get closer to finding great mushrooms.

Thank you for the video. I'm heading to the Trout lake area tomorrow. Hopefully there is still some left. I've never found pine mushrooms or chanterelles in the three years I've been looking so hopefully this is my lucky year.

Pine mushrooms grow anywhere there are pines? Is it a certain pine that they like to grow around?

Mycelium has to be present in the ground, too. They can grow in many different habitats. 😃
