I think there will be a boss in later versions of the ruins stage, the wand is just a placeholder. The Stygian River stage used to be different, with a lot more fire and intense music. To be honest, I prefer the old version. 23:40 Nope, those were Tektites from Zelda crossed with Space Invaders. XD Unlike the Siren stage, it makes sense the Fusionist's Lab would be long and difficult, it is a World Boss level after all. Also, it has a lot of creative ideas for enemies.

Kinda of sad we missed a different version of Stygian River. We are loving the fusionist lab though.
