@@BBQLIFE found a recipe for shawarma on the Swartz ingredients page so made up a small jar for trying tomorrow, will keep you posted.

Just finished this cook, great flavours and all the family loved it - the spike was filled to the top and as advised I pushed down from the top every 15 mins or so. This left the top 25% of the spike bare but any mushroom pieces that fell out were delicious having been cooked through in the pan. Great recipe and a welcome change from meat as one of my daughters has been a vegetarian since the age of 2 (she’s now in her mid 30’s!)

You can but it gets extremely hot. So it's only good for low fat. Quick cooks
