Do you have any field guide books? I just recently got one for mushrooms, there are WAY more types of mushrooms than I had thought! I love a good field guide!

Most puffballs are edible if young, and white. ALTHOUGH there are 2 that look very similar that can make you sick or can kill you , so don't eat them unless you're absolutely certain they are a puffball. Fun fact the genus name Lycoperdon means wolf fart. 😂

Ooo, I didn't know that. I've never eaten a puffball mushroom before. I live in a city, so I've never even seen those before. LOL wolf fart 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That made me laugh.
