Description and Ingredients:
Mushrooms with sour cream and quick mushroom appetizer.
When you have a craving, you have a craving. I couldn't resist the temptation of the moment and without any hesitation, I took it upon myself to make a proper mushroom stew for "my foodies" and myself.
With country-style sour cream, onions and garlic from the garden, and mushrooms from the SUPERMARKET :). You can't have it all, can you? But I almost made the ultimate stew with PORCINI mushrooms. I missed it, but not for long.
And because I care a lot about you and I enjoy cooking and surprising, I also made a mushroom salad with mayonnaise and garlic, my boss's recipe!

Shopping basket, Mushroom Stew:
- 1 kg mushrooms;
- 1 kg sour cream;
- 3 large onions;
- 2 tablespoons of wheat flour;
- a handful of garlic;
- salt and pepper to taste;
- 2 bay leaves;
- 4 tablespoons of oil (sunflower, olive);
Served with polenta.
Shopping basket, mushroom salad with mayonnaise and garlic:
For the mayonnaise:
- 2 eggs (one hard-boiled and one raw. Only the yolk is used);
- 1 teaspoon of mustard;
- 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice;
- 150-200 ml of sunflower oil;
Preparing the mushrooms:
- 1/2 kg mushrooms (steamed for 40-45 minutes);
- a handful of garlic (grated and mixed with the chopped mushrooms);
- salt and pepper to taste;
Mix everything together, obtaining a very delicious mushroom salad.
