Dude I swear like ten years ago there was so much more footage of Mushroomhead as a whole and now finding any of that shit is impossible.

Awesome sauce! 😁 Skinny's kit, and JJ and Dinner's guitars are absolutely poppin' here. Also, love that Tales From the Thousand Lakes poster. Thanks for posting!

Yeah, how about that Tales poster? awesome! I have an original Tales shirt, from '94.

@@joesmith9216 sweet! 😁 Tales is one of the best metal albums ever! The immersive, cold atmosphere is perfect. Nuclear Blast had an awesome roster in the '90s. In one of the videos of Shroom painting props, they're listening to "Celebration of The Forth" by Samael in the background. The guys in Mushroomhead have really great tastes in music.

@@benji01 Bro, do you like WINTER???? haha
@benji012 жыл бұрын
@@joesmith9216 They're awesome! I first heard them on the 'Death Is Just The Beginning' compilation. They're like a hybrid between Autopsy and Neurosis; Into Darkness is great! They're up my alley since I love a lot of Doom/Sludge metal. 🙂 Paradise Lost, Cathedral, and the Gathering, are other bands with a similar atmosphere to Amorphis and Winter.

Very cool! As soon as I heard and saw this, I was picking up Puddle of Mudd vibes bigtime! Not that its a bad thing but this is so different than what we see and hear Mushroomhead doing and have done. They're a bunch of regular guys and hanging out and kicking it. Awesome to see!

@@jcon216 Ace! Do you also have footage of their show at the Cove from '97? And, do you know what kind of amps/strings/pickups JJ and Dinner used? They had a very thick and full sound, especially live. =-)

@@jcon216 That's awesome, man! =-) I found so much interesting info about the band from your bios on the 216 Proboards forum. Hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago, lol. Do you by any chance have the news coverage of Spring Mosh '99, and Trëllebörg's demo? I had the whole coverage, as well as some of the radio spots, and Mike Kuhstos' interview from the Mike Trivisonno programme, saved in my old computer. Alas, it's lost to the ages now. It would've been so awesome to see Shroom in a high school gymnasium... *sigh* What could've been. That said, I was able to salvage a GIF I made of Dinner and JJ from the coverage in their glorious mummy attire. 😁 Cheers! 🤘🍻

I am not believing this is Mushroomhead. The vocals are by one guy. He is close to doing both Jeffrey and J Mann but his ending isn't quite Nothing. Closer to J Mann. Sounds great. I just believe it's a good cover.
@jcon2162 жыл бұрын
Ummm, what? 🤣 This is 100% Mushroomhead. The guy with long hair sitting in the chair is Jeff Hatrix, and the guy standing with the backwards ballcap is Jason Popson. I'm the one who uploaded this, and have been a fan going to their shows since 1995.

@@jcon216 any clue where I could hear Jason’s version of “It’s Not unusual “from his side project Lost Vegas.?

@@chuckt4465 That's from the Bionic Bigfoot compilation. I have the cd and the tracks on my PC. I could send the track to your email? Just an FYI though, the vocals on that cover are not done by Popson. They are done by Mike Martini...guitarist of Unified Culture, State of Conviction, The Alter Boys, etc. Lost Vegas was a project that the two of them did together.
