Great reaction! I dare say that you could say "Masterpiece" for the vast majority of Jinjer tracks. The next song that reactors typically check out is Who is Gonna be the One live. It bangs, so don't drink coffee ahead of time. More Jinjer please and thank you! 🤘🍻

Dude I drove 10 hrs with a friend to HOU to see these guys at a bar called the Sand Dunes. I got to hear Sumo Cyco whose song "Undefeated" is fire and that lead singer for Sumo Cyco put on a great show. Jinjer opened their show with this song and it only got better after that. Judgement & Punishment, I Speak Astronomy, Pisces, Outlander, Who's Gonna Be the One?, Bad Water (no growls),Cloud Factory, Scissors, Just Another, Home Back, Perennial (Live version), No Hoard of Value, Dreadful Moments, Vortex, Pearls & Swine, Wallflower, Disclosure, Sit Stay Roll Over, Just Another....It's as dope as TOOL in a slightly different scope but just as brilliant. Best band since Tool. Sleep Token is next great band.

I absolutely love seeing someone experience the joy of this band for the first time! I know this isn't your first time hearing them, but every song with them is a new experience. They're so diverse, and so damn talented. I listen to them constantly, and I can never get tired of them. Tatiana is one of the greatest vocalists I've ever heard. She just completely melts my soul every time I listen to her sing. Please check out Pit of Consciousness. It's probably my favorite, although it's really hard to settle on a favorite with this band. Usually, reactors react to the live in Kiev version, which is awesome. But, the OMV for this song is one of my favorite videos from them, also. Maybe you could do a double reaction, live and OMV. May want to lay off the coffee for that though, lol.

Alive in Melbourne released on 20 Nov 2020 was recorded at (obviously Melbourne) in March 2020, one of the last concerts before the lockdown…. Official Video available on KZbin. And they play the Good Things festival in Melbourne 2022 (maybe in Sydney too but I can’t remember every tour date!!!) but I don’t think they are due later in 2023 but fingers crossed for 2024, they are one of the best live bands out their🤘🤘🤘

Ahhhhhh....Jinjer. The sound at the end in an harmonic nopte done with the bass. I think you are ready for the next level: Pit of consciousness live in Kiev, then Vortex, then Sit stay Roll Over live in Sydney and finally (or not) Home back. For this last one I love the Hellfest 2022 version for its emotional feeling but the OMV is hitting hard and also please please and more please have an eye on the lyrics for it. It's then gonna hit even more!

Huge Jinjer fan, they have the Opeth vibe with songs like this, not that it sounds like Opeth, but in the way that this song alone could be broken up and expanded into a whole album, but it’s just one song on a EP that is part of the Micro EP but explains what to expect on the next album Macro. Exceptionally talented and creative band🤘🤘🤞

That sound at the end is Eugene playing chords on bass. You seem to like Tatiana's singing voice as much as her growls... Check out her bands before Jinjer named "Prophecy" and "The Kodry" - there are videos here on KZbin. Prophecy is where she started using harsh vocals, The Kodry is something entirely different. If you look hard enough there are also videos around of a young Tatiana singing solo in bars around Eastern Ukraine

Jinjer is something different in the music scene. They do things that you think shouldn't work - and they pull it off, flawlessly - every. single. time. The talent is next level at every instrument - including Tatiana's vocals. One of my favorites is Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev. Who is Going to be the One live is a must. Vortex will blow your mind, and when you want to go hard, try - Sit, Stay, Roll Over (OMV) You found an incredible band that works their asses off - and we get the benefit! 🤘

And to answer your other question when Jinjer will tour Aus again, I dunno but I know they already toured here twice. March 2020 and Dec 2022. Once was before the lockdowns and the other was after. I suspect there is a chance they will do it more often now. Here's hoping they will come back late 2023 or early 2024! And I'm really happy to hear you're loving the growly metal vocals! This is one of their best songs if not their best song. While JINJER is an S tier band for me they have some songs that are misses imo. Another staple JINJER song/video to react to is Who Is Gonna Be The One Live Other good ones are I Speak Astronomy, Ape, Sit Stay Roll Over, Outlander and On The Top Also that sound you're wondering about at the end is the bassist raking a chord. You can see him do it in the video as well the very last time.

\*chuckles* We're not even close to masterpiece yet, bro. But this is your first taste of Jinjer's more typical level of compositional complexity. Pisces is the light intro song for people we aren't sure are ready. Perennial is next, because _everybody_ doubts that she can really do that live. This is next to see if they're gonna be a fan or not. From here it branches out... Judgement (& Punishment) one-take vocal performance for the doubters who aren't convinced yet... or some newer stuff to see if you can handle even more complexity, like Vortex.

we should just preface every Jinjer song with the warning "don't drink your coffee, as this is going to thump", maybe Wallflower and Beggars' Dance are the exceptions and even then I would suggest that caffeine might not be the way to go. I dare you to find a bad Jinjer song, for even the worst one I can think of, is still crafty, an amazing demonstration of range, and different from what anyone else is doing or has done. My Jinjer favorites are Outlander(best metal band in Ukraine award concert) Full-blast energy Cloud Factory (OMV) Climate activism with energy Cloud Factory (Live in Kiev) Full-blast energy Ape (OMV) Full-blast energy Just Another (OLMV) So much positive energy Vortex (OMV) anxiety and introvert with amazing instrumentals Scissors Full-blast energy Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev) mental health on a full-blast energy On the Top (live) Full-blast energy On the Top (OMV) anti-villain Wallflowers(OMV) Introvert with a soothing undertone Black Water(OMV) climate activism and self-reflection of an anti-social personality Teacher Teacher (OMV) anti-authoritarianism with lots of energy I Speak Astronomy(OMV) great instrumental and metal love song with energy Sit Stay Rollover(OMV) Full-blast energy Beggar's Dance ... a jazz tune using just the hook lines in the other tracks placed together to make a song Home Back (OMV) Anti-war with unearthly vocals Retrospection (OMV) get to know the band better through a song paying homage to their families. King of Everything That should keep you busy.

Wherever you go now on your Jinjer journey you are going to love the song, that isn't hyperbole either. My suggestion? Mediator. If you want to hear every element of Jinjer cranked up to 11 that's the song to go for. Great reaction once again, and about the caffeine...up to you man but you know...it's risky. 🤘

The sound at the end is the bass either doing harmonics or a dissonant chord, or both. Idk I just know it's the bass.
